Hello! My name is Heather, owner and transporter of Pawsitively Precious Cargo.  

I’m a detail-oriented Military Mom with a big heart and a passion for helping others. Ever since I could remember, animals have been drawn to me — I guess that deep voice I had as a toddler saying "dowg" (yes, “dog” was my first word my mom loves to share!) was my early sign of the connection I’d have with furry friends throughout my life. While I didn’t have many pets growing up (aside from the goldfish I won at the school carnival), I’ve always loved animals. And it's stuck with me through my entire adult life. 

As an adult, I adopted two wonderful rescue dogs, and my love for animals only grew from there. In 2020, during the pandemic, I found the perfect way to combine two of my greatest passions — driving and helping animals. I began transporting animals across the country, reuniting them with their new families, and it’s been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. There’s something so special about being a part of their journey and seeing the joy on everyone’s faces when their fur babies arrive safely.
